Aixys Roque is a classically trained pianist and master’s-level educated music teacher with over 25 years of experience teaching piano and music to children.

She began studying piano at the age of five in Cuba, where she completed the country’s highest professional degree in music performance .

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music with a concentration in Piano Performance from the Higher Institute of Art in Havana, where she earned her professional diploma after advanced classical training.

She later completed graduate-level (masters) studies at the Pontifical University of Salamanca and holds another Master’s degree in Psychology from San Jorge University in Zaragoza, with a focus on childhood and adolescent development.

This strong academic and artistic background allows Aixys to combine high-level piano instruction with a deep understanding of how children learn, stay motivated, and build confidence. Her teaching approach is structured,  and developmentally informed.

Aixys currently serves as a Music Teacher within Miami-Dade County Public Schools and has maintained a private piano studio since 1998.

She has been a member of the National Piano Guild since 2002. Her students have participated in national piano auditions, competitions, and formal recitals. 

She specializes in group piano instruction as well as individual lessons for beginner and intermediate students, offering a professional, engaging, and well-rounded piano education

As a professional artist she has toured  across multiple European countries, collaborating with professional music organizations and companies in countries like Italy and Switzerland.
